101 ready operations on your website
This is not an assistant that writes text for you to copy. It has access to the same things you do once you log into the dashboard, and carries out commands directly on the site.
- Products – adding, editing, prices, variants, attributes, categories, images, bulk changes

You do not need a ready-made template, an agency or a page builder. You say what site you want, and AI creates the subpages, writes the copy, uploads images, arranges the menu, sets up the store and finishes the look, working directly on your theme files.

Works with every editor
Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, Bricks and others. They all store page content in WordPress, and the plugin has full access to that data, so it can read and change it.
Which AI client
- ChatGPT (free accounts too) – you paste the ready prompt from the panel into the Codex built into ChatGPT and it connects to your site on its own. No terminal and no code. Once, you have to give Codex internet access and add your domain to the allowed list
- ChatGPT as an MCP connector – alternatively you turn on developer mode and add your own connector by pasting the address from the panel. That route requires the Plus plan or higher
- Codex CLI – three lines in the configuration file, or the same ready prompt
- Claude and Claude Code – one command in the terminal or a ready configuration snippet for Claude Desktop
- Gemini – a ready configuration snippet for the Gemini CLI; in the browser you attach your own server at gemini.google.com/apps (Gemini Spark)
- Every other MCP client – Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code with Copilot, Zed. The same address and the same token

How it works (3 steps)
- 1. You install the Mcat-MCP plugin on your WordPress
- 2. The plugin generates the token and the connection address (the MCP endpoint)
- 3. You paste them into your AI, and the panel has separate ready instructions for ChatGPT, Codex, Claude and Gemini
Security
- Access only with your token – you can regenerate it at any time and the old one stops working immediately
- Change history – every operation is recorded: what, when, with what data and with what result. Viewable in the panel and exportable as CSV
- Permission levels: full / read and write / read only. In read-only mode AI can do nothing but report
- You enable only the modules you want. The ones with the widest reach, meaning theme files, plugins and raw SQL, are off by default
- Everything happens on your server, the data does not circulate through other people’s dashboards

Requirements
WordPress 5.6+, PHP 7.4+, HTTPS recommended. It runs on the hosting you already have and needs neither the newest WordPress nor PHP 8. WooCommerce is required only if you want to manage a store. AI client: ChatGPT (a free account with the built-in Codex is enough), the Codex CLI, Claude, the Gemini CLI or any other client that supports MCP.

A great tool with truly huge possibilities. With Mcat-MCP I feel like I have my own permanent webmaster and WooCommerce specialist who is available practically on demand. Through AI I can manage pages, content, products, orders, customers, inventory, reviews, media and SEO, and on top of that run audits, reports and controlled changes without constantly clicking through the WordPress dashboard. Dla mnie przede wszystkim najwazniejszy w tej wtyczce jest woocommerce, kupilem jakis czas temu zagraniczną wtyczke No…ra (nie będę reklamował tego gów..) ale jak sie okazało ich woocommerce jest ograniczony tylko do katalogu produktow bez mozliwosci dostepu do klientow , budowy crm czy budowaniu personalizowanych wariantów czy czegokolwiek dusza zapragnie, w MCAT moge zrobic doslownie wszystko! newslettery wysylane do klientów posegregowanych od najbardziej kalorycznych i to wszystko bez mailerlite czy tym podobnych, wszystko z czatu wysyłane bezpośrednio z wordpressa! mam dosłownie dostęp do wszystkiego. Ostatnio poprosilem Claude zeby zrobil mi z 5 lat rozpiske najlepszych klientow, potem wyslal im specjalny kod rabatowy, poselekcjonowal mi klientow i na tej bazie zbudowal wartosciowy CRM dzięki ktoremu juz wiedziałem które produkty są dla nich najbardziej odpwiednie, po godzinie pracy poszedł email do nich.
